Chicken and Vegetable Rice

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice
  • 500 grams chopped chicken
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken seasoning
  • 4 cups water or broth

Instructions:

  1. Wash the rice and soak it for 15 minutes.
  2. In a pot, heat the oil and add the onion. Cook until soft.
  3. Add the chicken and stir until it changes color.
  4. Add the carrot, peas, and bell pepper.
  5. Add the salt, black pepper, turmeric, and chicken seasoning.
  6. Add the rice, then pour in the water or broth.
  7. Let it boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pot for 20 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
