Beef Stroganoff

 

Beef Stroganoff by Chef Zakir from Dawat. This mouth-watering “Main Course” recipe for Beef Stroganoff can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Beef undercut½ kg
  • Capsicum1
  • Carrot1
  • Onion1
  • Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Milk½ liter
  • Flour roasted½ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese½ packet
  • Worchester sauce2 tbsp
  • Parsley¼ bunch
  • Black pepper powder½ tsp
  • White pepper powder¼ tsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Oil3 – 4 tbsp

Recipe Method

  1. Cut beef undercut into juliennes, heat  3 – 4 tbsp oil in a wok, add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and beef. Fry well till golden brown.
  2. Now add 1 sliced carrot, 1 sliced capsicum, 1 sliced onion, 2 tbsp Worchester sauce, salt to taste, ½ tsp black pepper powder, ¼ tsp white pepper powder and ¼ bunch of chopped parsley.
  3. In another wok heat ½ liter of milk till it comes to a boil. Thicken with ½ cup roasted flour.
  4. Add the cooked beef into white sauce. Mix well, lastly add ½ packet grated mozzarella cheese and mix.
  5. Dish it out and serve.
